Chrisley was recognized by people, particularly after he launched his reality series on television "Chrisley Knows Best'. He was a household name shortly following the show's airing. The show ran for at least six seasons since it's inception. He also been a guest in the film 'Sharknado: The 4th Awakens' a disaster science fiction comedy film, which is a parody of the popular film Star Wars: The Force Awakens'.
