
Sara Aliza Eisen is an American television journalist currently associated with CNBC. She is the co-anchor of the channel's shows 'Squawkon the Street', and Closing Bell'. She is an Ohio native, but was not keen on markets or currencies during her time in college. While at New York University, she worked as an intern for an online startup called ForexTV.com. It is there that she gained her first exposure with business news. The Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University gave her a master's degree in broadcast journalism. The work experience was for the duration of four months at Bloomberg TV, Hong Kong. After that, she returned to America and began her career in New York at Bloomberg. She eventually became a TV anchor. CNBC has hired her as a correspondent in December 2013. Eisen has been co-anchor for 'Worldwide exchange and 'Power Lunch' before landing the position on "Closing Bell in the year 2018. Eisen is co-anchoring 'Squawk on the Street since 2014. She is one of the most reputable business journalists today. Since joining CNBC her main focus has been on the global news for consumers.
